This is an important new part of the urban regeneration project undertaken by Manifattura Tabacchi, aimed at giving back to the city a real neighborhood enlivened by eco-friendly spaces and services under the banner of culture, fashion, food, art and design, available not only to those who work, study or live in the former cigar factory, but also to those who frequent and live in the surrounding area. Today, thanks to this vital new service, anyone who wants to visit the neighborhood will thus have the opportunity to access everything Manifattura Tabacchi has to offer, starting with the Factory, the creative and multifunctional district enlivened by restaurants, cafes, stores, offices and artisan workshops where a unique and special shopping experience can be had.

The parking structure was built in accordance with the most modern standards of construction and distribution of spaces, in order to achieve maximum functionality and efficiency, but also safety: in fact, the parking lot is equipped with the latest management technologies and always-on surveillance systems aimed at ensuring the full safety of users.

The new parking lot plans to achieve SmartPark certification, a certification standard for sustainable parking lots, by October 2023. In this context, in addition to the construction and plant engineering logics followed by Manifattura Tabacchi, the skills and experience of APCOA PARKING Italia will allow the parking area to be equipped with a series of services and solutions that promote alternative mobility with a view to sustainability, with the aim of creating a true urban mobility hub. Already active as of today are four electric charging stations. Soon an electric bike sharing service will be available, to which will be added the installation of automatic locker boards available to all the people who work and live in the new neighborhood of Florence.
