Legislative Decree No. 231/2001 introduced into our legal system the principle of the administrative liability of legal persons for offences committed by apical, top management figures, and by persons subject to the supervision of the aforementioned apical figures (employees, suppliers, etc.) in the interest or to the advantage of the entity itself.
